This is great, Erwin, thanks for sharing! I love the quote from Hans Beck at 4:39... "We could reproduce the whole world in this way." They pretty much have! :love: He certainly had vision, didn't he?

but that is definitely not a chimpanzee at the zoo that they show. I'm pretty sure it's the Guinea Baboons that they still have there.

Not sure they are baboons, Tim, but they're definitely not chimps! I think they are barbary macaques, maybe. Don't know why they wouldn't show chimps. ??? Whatever those are, they're not even apes, but monkeys. 8}

Thanks for the pics, Erwin.  I've heard about several of these sets but have never seen them.  The riverboat is magnificent and I would love to have it and the "time out" equipment in my collection, along with a number of those round medieval tents.

Nice to see Hans Beck talking about playmobil, are there any other videos around where he talks about it?

It is kind of a shame though that later on despite his wishes, Medieval has become a theme thats only about war.
That's why I am also a bit mixed about the machine guns for the new cops.. it might be crossing a line.. the pistols might have been enough for the cops to arrest the bad clickies. What would bad clickies need to do during play that would require cops with machine guns to be deployed?

Well, there sort of is one typical army-vehicle already. The new Top Agents' commander vehicle is quite resembling a real-world mobile SAM-system/truck.

In the pic from the link above, they show only the missile-system at the back, the one in the front is retracted into the truck's roof.

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!
