I read that and understood all of it EXCEPT the Playmobil reference. Why does he say that we will all agree that the Playmobil pirate ship is the best toy in history?
It's a complete world and can be played with on any surface a person is likely to use - carpet, bed, grass, sand, water without falling over like the figures themselves do. The figures can stay upright on the decks or be clipped onto things to stop them falling over. It's relatively easy to store and doesn't take up as much space as a building or fall apart if you move it.
Personally I prefer castles but there are definite pros to ship toys.
