They should just copy Puzzle Pirates.
I don't think it would (at least in its original form) be very close to that game. The original video showed a large and interactive world that you could adventure in as a Playmobil figure. It looked very much like a traditional MMORPG, where you could collect items and equip them, complete quests, and do things with others in an online environment. I'm sure there would have been some sort of puzzle-like aspect to some of the quests or environments, but it wouldn't be restricted to that as the main form of gameplay. If it were ported to a mobile platform, I am saddened that it could turn into something like that though.
I thought it looked like a really great game as it was, and I would have played it for sure. It would be so cool to be able to collect Playmobil items that we are all familiar with and use them in the game world. It basically looked like a multiplayer and much more expanded version of
Hype: The Time Quest, and that would have been awesome! I very much hope that the game still holds most of that sort of playability and that it is eventually released. Now that Morgen Studios has shifted its Playmobil-focused development to
Super 4, I can only assume that they are either not on the project any longer or are not actively working on its development.
