Playmobil Store in Mississauga (Canadian Members)

Hi all,

I just got back from a weekend in Toronto.  While there I took an hour to swing by the PM store in Mississauga and was very happy I did.  I think they carried all the current themes (even had some Romans left) and had most of the DS sets as well (without the exorbinant shipping costs).  They also had a section where stuff was 30-50% off because of damaged packaging.  I picked up the lighthouse for 41$ and also got some redcoats.

The address is 6430 Kennedy Rd and it is just off highway 410.

Thanks for posting this, Dsdad... next time I'm back in Ontario I will have to drop by and get some DS sets - and maybe a few discounted sets too!

Did they have any union soldiers?  I have a good friend who lives close by.

Sorry if this sounds wishy-washy but the way the DS sets were displayed is similar to what they do at the Funparks. Each of the DS sets has a basket on a wall, in front of the basket is a picture of the set (which blocks the view into the basket). I know that they had Union and Confederate baskets but I don't know if there were klickies in them. If you call the Playmobil Canada number one of the options takes you to the stores telephone. Sorry I can't say for sure.

Is the store open on Sundays? I will be flying from Toronto Sunday April 10th and it looks VERY close. If it is open what time does it open?

I will be driving from Toronto to Kingston as well, you Canadians have any shops that i "must" visit along the way?

Sorry Gis, they are closed on Sunday, open weekdays 10 - 6 and Sat 11 - 4.  It is very close to the airport. Maybe on your way back?

Note, you might not be impressed with the prices we pay in Canada.

Well playmohunting in foreign countries is always fun. Maybe I find a great discount...if not...well no loss right :-)

They did have some stuff discounted because of damaged packaging.  I'm not from Toronto but I know Mastermind toys is one of the big Playmo places there.  They have a website so you can have a look.  Also if you put postal codes in Playmo Canada's website it shows you all the stores in the area that stock PM. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
