"funtastic-plastic" and "Klickywelt" started this quality report in cooperation with Geobra to find out, which defects occur in quantity and in which sets.
Detecting defects and feedback are the first steps to correct and solve the problems. Right now Playmobil receives the first list, but collecting defects goes on.
Greetings Martina

Why are Klickywelt & funtastic-plastic the only forums that are being solicited for quality issues by Geobra? Why isn't our forum able to discuss defective parts issues?

They dont make them as they used to be ... Probably the plastic composition has changed over the years, the new ones are definitely less brittle and more rubber like . I have had some isolated problems with some new klickies , some atest klickies their hats wouldnt fit and a number f klickies have a bended Quasimodo posture which looks rubbish , a few romans and a few black lion guards haev that problem and they ruin any formation. Old Nuremberg guards all stand tall and no problems or whatsover

I need a time machine and go back to 1983 i reckon  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
:knight: Steck is Holy . Bring back more steck sets and its guardians , the Nuremberg Guards :knight:

The idea to collect such a list is very old. But after some more personal contacts with Playmobil we started this defects-listing in cooperation with Geobra because both sides will benefit. Its always a matter of personal commitment to get things started. We asked Geobra if they were interested in such a quality report- not the other way around.

In other words we could contact Playmobil HQ through the PCC & ask if Playmofriends could be a source of knowledge regarding inferior quality issues?

I contacted PM USA about the issue with the #4658 diver's shoes and hard hat three days ago (and I cited that mine was not an isolated issue) and so far haven't heard a peep from them.
Cheers!

Should others that have had this exact problem notify them also? ???

It's the first time I have a QC issue with a product from Geobra, so it's the first time I try to contact them about this kind of problem. Specially since Geobra is a toy company, I think (IMO at least) that everyone who has any kind of issue should contact them. Who knows, maybe they're not aware of the problem? What I do know is that the way the plastic is brittle it could signify a health hazard for small children.
Cheers!
