Wow! Thank you each and everyone of you for the very positive comments! I'm very happy you like her!
I've been keeping this project a secret, sorry  (is that what hold out on someone means????) I had this idea months ago when in Playmobil USA facebook there was a poll about what new theme you would want Playmobil to develop. I said "Victorian" Japan... 1800's Japan that would be.  ;D  And as I didn't see a playmo Geisha before (correct me if I'm wrong) I wanted to be the first

@Gis...I think that an Asian face would be an improvement  ;). as well as a more geisha-like sandals. That's all I'm thinking about changing.

Are you using Fimo modeling clay?  (the kind that you bake in the oven, and after curing remains solid, but sort of rubbery and flexible?)  Or does the clay dry hard and brittle?  I'm most curious about the add-on (snap-on?) sleeves and trails.
I love the hair ornaments as well!  Did you use the legs/feet/slippers from the victorian bathroom girl?
The sandals are a loan from a monk . I still have to get the ones I'll use. They will  look more like japanese slippers.
I use a paste that doesn't need oven. It uses as base a plastic glue so the result is more rubbery or firm according to the amount of glue that you add. The "pro" is that it is very versatile and dry slowly so you can change the final shape in the process. And when it is dry it is not hard-rock... so it is easy to cut, like plastic. The "con" is that as it is rubbery it is very hard to sand down so you have to be very neat.
The sleeves started as snap-on sleeves. But they kept falling so I glued them.

Thank you ALL again!
Gaston.

I am so amazed at the detail in the painting and modelling.
I thought your Victorian ladies were wonderful but you have excelled yourself with her - I would think that she couldn't be improved upon, but please show her again when you decide she is finished.

Yeah you got the right idea about what to hold out on us means, though what I meant was that you concealed the fact that you are such an artist. Not that your other work isn't fantastic, but this is absolutely incredible!

What is the name of the paste you use for modeling? It sounds quite useful.

oh ok Bonnie thanks a lot for calling me an artist!!  ;D ;D ;D I see what you meant, thanks a lot!

This particular paste have not a commercial name. It is home made. I buy it at a hobby store in Buenos Aires. The owner makes it, I'm trying to get the recipe but he wouldn't give it. he also prepares a fantastic chrome paint that I'll show soon in other customs!

The closest thing would be what we call Cold Porcelain. I think you call it the same. Though cold porcelain is not that easy to work with. I tried it with not very good results.
