Meet Geisha Mikiko Clikune!

 

 

 

 


I couldn't wait any longer to introduce her to you Playmofriends! She is actually unfinished but as I don't know how long will it take the missing parts to arrive I decided to show her like this. Belt, face and sandals still to be changed.

This was a very long and hard work. Over 2 months working on and off of course. A lot of research, testing, modeling and painting. And I'm very happy with the results. In fact a couple of other Geishas are already in the designing table.

The parasol was made out of a Victorian parasol, a Victorian kin and a bicycle wheel.  ;D

The Kimono and Obi made out of a sort of modelling paste. As well as the hairdo.

All the decoration hand painted.

My my you have been holding out on us indeed!  I really love it!  And the hand-painting is so detailed!  Bravo, bravo!  Can't wait to see the others!

Are you using Fimo modeling clay?  (the kind that you bake in the oven, and after curing remains solid, but sort of rubbery and flexible?)  Or does the clay dry hard and brittle?  I'm most curious about the add-on (snap-on?) sleeves and trails.

I love the hair ornaments as well!  Did you use the legs/feet/slippers from the victorian bathroom girl?
