i don't really like these knights either i prefer the ones with the symbols of the 3666 castles flag ,,and the silver playted of the 70's

I agree that the plain Black Lion Knights make a great pike army...but maybe with a different shield...a brown/black one maybe...

I think it's really great to see what can be done creating clearly different sets of figures but which still clearly fit with the same heraldic emblem. A tribute to both the flexibility of Playmobil and the imagination and ingenuity of customisers!
