Another custom Black Lion Guard....

I have to admit I never really felt comfortable with these Black Lion knights... 7664 - 3 Black Lion Knights

I know that they are favourite to a lot of people here in the forum but I could never see through their brown and black colours, especially with them carried a shield with red and black colour.... This lion emblem looks like it can only be carried by good guys... I see these brown and black knights as the kind that would join up with the bad guys....

AndrewL did a great job with his customs in another thread http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=4273.0

I wanted to give a different perspective to the knights carrying this coat of arms...

I kept their captain intact but instead of brown or black, I gave them a red torso...I've also created a knight for the group...This is actually a guard (maybe a honorary one...)

As for the brown and black knights....i am working on a guard for my ''bad'' guys project with them for some time now...

Nice work, Panos.  I really like the matching red and black instead of the brown with these "good guy" lion knights.

Great customs . I have to say though i think the 7664 black lion soldiers are the best i think ( second to nuremberg guards ) to build big armies , i have over 200 and plannign to buy another 100 at least before they are extinct ( no longer available in germany ...) , great to see customs , i am personally too lazy and icompetenend to changes them so i keep them as they are . Lovely mods , might copy a couple of them for my collection. Do i have your authorisation Sir Wolf ( copyrights etc etc )  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I like blacvk lion soldiers with pikes , they make a great pike army i reckon ...

And many thanks for the ref to my guys -- much appreciated!

I think it's really great to see what can be done creating clearly different sets of figures but which still clearly fit with the same heraldic emblem. A tribute to both the flexibility of Playmobil and the imagination and ingenuity of customisers!

I look forward to your 'bad guys'!
