Victorian customizing on Ebay UK - hit and miss...and a rarity

Certainly a miss there...

This is a beautiful Mansion in a lovely condition complete with all roof finials but one and impeccable attic wallpaper ( which are the two items usually missing or damaged ) and the Seller did not even bother to put his pix straight  ...

The item will not reach the expected price and one will wonder why ?

And a guaranteed hit there  ...

Great attention to details , lovely pictures, fun display...this auction will command not only more attention from Ebayers but also higher prices 

I wonder where this idea of a little boy on his chair and these mischievous cats is coming from ? hmmm...let me think

And finally before I head down to my home in South of France until mid-june , here are the figures of my last 5 auctions :

Easter Sunday at the Mansion - 628 hits - 39 bids - 143.00 pounds

Pampering time at the Mansion - 241 hits - 28 bids - 87.00 pounds

Baking time at the Mansion - 306 hits - 34 bids - 120.00 pounds

Summer has arrived at the Mansion - 460 hits - 41 bids - 132.00 pounds

A Perfect Sunday in the Cotswolds ( active ) - 228 hits - 27 bids - 132.00 pounds ( still 5 days to go )

It is interesting to know that customized auctions like mine are bought by serious Collectors who are making multi purchases despite the high prices ( minimum of 2 auctions and up to 4 auctions )

Something fascinating about the hits is that an auction like Easter Sunday at the Mansion ended up with 522 hits back on the 14/04/09 and has nevertheless recorded 106 additional hits since then which means that people are viewing it long after it has ended...

I will try to create a new video with the pictures of these auctions as my previous video has reached 700 views so far and it is quite encouraging...

One of Emma's other gems is "Victorian Wedding Party" which only reached 36.01 pounds on Ebay Uk...I honestly do not understand that such an effort , attention to details, quality of accessories and Playmobil figures did not reach a higher price. I would have definitely put a reserve price if my initial costs were not covered and I can tell you by experience that 36.01 does not cover neither the Playmobil items or accessories items...

I am lost for words
