Micro-World, where are you ?
« on: February 13, 2009, 16:26:00 »
It was brought to my attention in a different forum the Micro's are gone ? I looked for them on the German Playmobil site and do not find them ? Is this true ? I thought they were just released and now I fear i may not be able to get the new ones i want 4334, 4335, 4336 & 4337 :'( I do not see the old ones on  the US site also   ???
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

these are sad new indeed.  :'(
the micro-worlds are maybe the most conceptual-designed sets playmobil ever produced: junior klickies playing with tiny klickies just as we (big klickies) can play with the junior ones.  :yup:
they have a kind of vortex effect.

I had seen a notice that were being discontinued but thought I had noticed a new set in the 2009 catalog. They sure didn't last long!

According to the 2009 printed catalogue, all three microsets, farm, harbour and house, are due out in January.  I've had trouble finding them on the web before, so maybe they haven't made it there.  I bought the knights one and planned to buy the three this year as all can be used together in a modern theme and maybe others, a fire one say, may follow.

Ah i did not check my print as i was now relying on the updated web. I did a search for set # and nothing came up . I do hope they make it to the US

Yes. Take a look at Klickywelt, to which I linked in my post above, where you can find all the discontinued sets for 2009 (in Germany and markets that follow German release dates etc.).

I was able to buy sets 4333 Castle/knights, 4335 Modern house, 4336 Airport for $10.99 +tax each.  Timmy's Toy Chest in Sanford, FL had them on Feb. 05.  I haven't been to Palm Beach Gardens lately but the last time I was there (January, I think) they had all of them.

Uh that's really strange, because actually the second series of four micro sets hasn't been out that long. But I also wondering already that the first series discontinued quite fast.

Didn't they run very well? Anybody knows about?

Or was this just a contribution to the collectors anyway because they set up scenarios where micro Playmobil figures would be very usefull?  ???
