Nürnberg Spielwarenmesse (Toyfair) 2020
« on: February 02, 2020, 01:04:10 »
Here´s a video I found of an interview by someone with Playmobil´s representative on the toyfair, in German language.
(I haven´t checked Klickywelt in several weeks, so I don´t know if the video has already been posted overthere.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDzhrax1NKM

First there is (another) unboxing of Everdreamerz.
Then he was asked about the new licenses and he wanted to show some of the new stuff on a TV-screen, but there was a technical problem / failure.
They then changed subject to knights and you can also see quite close the new 2020 additions to the Knights Theme (Novelmore / Burnham Raiders from 2019). The big beer-barrel is back, in a darker colour this time.

Near the end, the representative is also being asked about the results of the Playmobil Movie. No surprise that he answers it didn´t turn out as expected and that they aren´t satisfied with the results.

Thanks for sharing that link.
Actually it seems like the journalist is not really a friend of Playmobil (or Mr. Seeger?) because he always tries to tease and mention other brands and their enforcement.
The content of this 17 minutes is not really an ad for Playmobil - it is very chaotic, also Seeger's statements are not convincing (and I am not talking about his weird mixture of the German and English language at all...). He always tries to stay with his subjects but unfortunaltely he is not succeeding. I really appreciate his honesty about the movie and the statement to keep up with all this issues! The whole Everdreamerz-theme comes out badly I think....what a surprise  8-)

I'm still looking forward to all the other great things coming up in 2020. Even without an interactive, medial (and embarrassing) presentation that did not work at all, we will all find something for everybody...as usual!

Yeah, I think so too it wasn´t a good presentation, on the contrary.
And Herr Seeger doesn´t look much like a "Sieger"  ;D
