So if I count correctly they don’t picture 9 zoo sets including the Red Pandas

The set list has 21 numbers, they show 9 so there are 12 more sets not shown. Plus there is one of the new starter sets that is zoo themed and the figure has the red panda on the shirt and hat.
I think the giraffes are a new color of yellow for the base this time. The alligator is definitely a new color variant.
A few new animals in the 123 including the duck ride and ducklings, and a new small octopus. Not sure about the fish but probably new color variations there.

And the rhinos and hippos? Both animals we don't need more of... but if they are different...

The new redcoat in the duo-pack is a customizer's dream come true I think.

The official shot / advertisement photograph - with one of the pirate's shoulder pads detached - really isn't up to standard, though.

The reason why not all the pictures of the new zoo are released is because of their different release dates (source: Meinspielzeug.ch). It also appears that there'll be two sets with elephants, one with outer fencing and one without, set 70346 appears to be a veterinarian:
