Recreating the building of the background picture of the historic figure is pure genius

Wonderful work  :thanks:

Thank you for the information on the Levi figure, Stefan.  Are they still available do you know? (Which reminds me, I think I was going to send you a British Bobby figure from Hamley's - did I ever do so?  I have one on my shelf and it must be there for a reason, for you or a friend in Australia.)

The way the track curves around reminds me of the Selketal railway we rode on earlier this year, the only straight track seemed to be in the stations or when the track was running alongside the road.  Otherwise, it was curves this and that all the time.

The way you set this depot up is brilliant!

I agree with playmovictorian: painting the façade the way it is on the box was a nice touch, and the colour combination looks refreshing.

Yes, the depot is pure genius, low relief modelling at its best.

Thanks for your kind replies. On we go!

As rolling stock's rather limited at the moment, I created swappable contents for goods to provide some visual changes. Here's the first two.

Fantastic!! It looks so beautiful with the painted "Fensterläden" , how did you attached them to the windows? Did you glue them?

Wonderful structural work. The train car loads are great too. I am a big fan of hot glue, especially for tiny things that will fall off every time you bump the table.
