I've watched your video a number of times now, jj, and with its curves through the trees it reminds me of our too brief ride on the Selketal railway this summer.

Gut möglich, daß ich ein wenig harzbahninspiriert war, als ich den Teil anlegte...  8} I might indeed have been inspired by Harzbahnen when designing this part of my layout.

A very good idea.  Presumably it can be dismantled for transporting.

Für den Transport kann ich die Anlage in zwei lange Teile zerlegen. Unten drunter sind Kanthölzer, die die Segmente stabiliseren und mit denen man sie im Ganzen tragen kann. Zum Einlagern kann man die acht Segmente einzeln stapeln.

For transport it can be split into two "stripes" four segments each. There are scantlings supporting and holding the segments in place so you can easily carry four in a row. To be stored they'll be dismantled so I can pile all eight segments to one bit tower.
