Hmmm, the pheasant sounded interesting, but it's nothing colours are like any of the pheasants I've seen in our garden!

I think that the house front would look good with a forest surround. From the back, though, it is more like a walker's hut than a forest ranger's/gamekeeper's living accommodation. And what someone who is apparently looking after the forest and the forest animals is doing with a deer skull as decoration, I don't know! Though it is a very nice deer skull.
True, on both counts. In this 'house' there's not even enough room to put a bed in the upstairs part.
Taking care of baby deer while using granddaddy's head for decoration, it is a bit odd now you mention it
