the series are never revealed in the first glance of the new catalogs but sometime later.  ;)

Yeah Mystery series aren't released until the Spring catalog at Toy Fair.

THERE'S STILL A CHANCE

A pith helmet is pretty desireable. Until absolutely proven otherwise I will believe it is real.

There is not a single knight figure in these two batches, thats actually what makes it most suspicious to me. There always is one medieval knight or soldier of a sort.

Not having that once might happen, but twice in a row is really not going to happen I think.

You can still order these pith helmets through DS!!!
The most valiant knights are made of German plastic!!!

Definitely fake, there are spelling errors in the German language...and the fact that some words are capitalized at the beginning of the line and some not...points into the same direction: fake

At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

That is another nail in the coffin for these being genuine then! Tonguello, why not start a poll on whether these are genuine or not?
