I rather like everything, but modern city is my main theme so it pretty much all fits in.

I must commend Geobra on those animal pouch bags....I think this is an excellent way to let people buy multiple animal sets without having duplicates of all the other pieces that would make up the set. I suspect the idea may have been driven by collectors ordering quantities of animals as they would perhaps want 10 pandas but didn't necessarily want 10 complete panda sets. It also means that kids can perhaps purchase a different animal every week/month with their pocket money. It also means that folks who already have a zoo, can add just the new animals to their existing layout....genius!

All in all, a big thumbs up from me.

Not sure about the body, but the goats head is an all new mold. The eye color is probably molded like most animals they do these days.

Yay spinning wheel... I need a huge pile of those fo a princess related project ;) ... and since ds is always out a small set will do nicely...

Where is the spinning wheel? And, as far as the concession stand, is that the one that's at TRU now or is this a different one?

It's different. It's included in the zoo.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one :)

Ismene, a victorian zoo could be very interesting. To be authentic, the animals would need to be very overcrowded, and arranged by scientific classification rather than geographic location. But I would really love to see that.
It would be an excuse to get animals (I try to avoid the modern theme to narrow my wish list). I'd have to find some cheap (believably Victorian) enclosures. If I dismantle the park, I can use that yellowish Victorian fencing for the herbivores, but the carnivores and anything that can climb or fly will need a different type of enclosure.

It's nice to see the spinning wheel again, but I'm probably going to hold out in case they release it in brown again.

Here they are. I'll get their names added when they show up on the official site, which I hope is soon.

PlaymoDB List - New Sets Released in 2014/2015 Catalogue

News flash: they're now on playmobil.de, and MOST HAVE SPARE PARTS already! The specials don't, and there aren't numbers for the new animals (nor any brand-new parts, I would guess), but there's a lot otherwise. My data-sucker didn't seem to grab the set names - must debug that - but it sucked in parts, lots of them. Check the above link again, and the text parts-lists thereafter. The little-blue-head icons link through to the spare-parts page, not the PDF, unless there's a PDF to go to.

PlaymoDB.org has catalogued over FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND parts in more than 6100 sets. Come and visit to find any set or part numbers you need to know!

Likes: the new sheep and the concept of separate animal bags without accessories. Make your own zoo complete without piling up 210 buckets, 173 brooms and 319 hay bales. Nice!
Love the blue knight in 5166 the duo pack
6146: the pirate's hideout could be useful in any other historical theme
Dislikes: walls are getting thinner al the time making them more look like a cheap tv studio scene

Nothing of interest. Will buy the new Ds offerings of course and keep expanding my 'golden age' misb western and knights collection.
