It would be nice to put a name to the designer who created this theme. I know its usually a team effort but the buck has to stop with someone. Then we could lay into the correct person and their design ideas when we criticize Geobra. Then we could find out what they were or are smoking/drinking and then we cut them off of that vice. They obviously need some sobering words of wisdom from all of us nuts  :lol:

Come on Geobra fess up, who did this travesty to the asian culture?

Maybe if we all had the same we at least wound understand what that theme is all about and could find something more to like about it.

What I find ever annoying is that now that this theme has been previewed it has made so many members like the Chalet set even more but by default. That building looks no more customizable than the Asian castles so from a builders perspective they are equally bad. What next...the chicken dragon becomes more popular because it looks  better than the new worst?

I do not want either type of building system. Is making the 2nd half look worse to make the first half better a new marketing study? 

Don't get me wrong the chalet building is very nice looking its just limited in size. I do not get why the company abandoned the interchangeable mentality thoughout their products. Now even the klickies are defined by logos or prints that are pretty obvious where they belong.

If the Asian castles were stecks or system x many collectors would still purchase them for the parts, especially stecks  ;)

i'm not particularly thrilled about the asian castle, nor about the mall (the smallest shopping center i've ever seen btw, but doesn't look like a portion of a southern california mall to me, so not my taste). I guess all this lack of interest will be good for my wallet :P

i did notice the molly brown's boa scarf in turquoise - may be handy for customs 8-)

the rooves of the new castle seem to be exactly as the the one from the panda enclosure - kind of dissapointing not to see something really new. No comment about those dragons :hmm:
