Some of you mentioned the boat... What exactly is that supposed to be? It looks like an airship from a video game or something. The side-launching cannon and the colour are really what makes me dislike it.

I'll probably buy one or two smaller sets from this theme but definitely none of the castles or larger sets. :(

Could this be the most underwhelming theme ever to be released by PM? Just wondering ... I can't remember any other theme that has triggered such a negative reaction here. Considering you guys are usually 'glass half full' people, that's really saying something.

I'm having mixed feelings on the Asian theme. I actually like the castles. Not to keen on the boat and dragons.

Looks like you can take the Asian style roof off the top of the castles. This would make it a great addition to the medieval theme in my opinion.

I just think it was highly anticipated and turned out to be almost completely non-historical, which is what I reckon most of us wanted. I still think it's better than some of the modern themes, but that's only my opinion! :lol:

PlaymoZoo, those are great drawing of a stereotypical asian dragon but one has to keep in mind that this is to be a kids toy, AKA pacifier. The design you drew is similar to the design of the Nessie character. Its looks good and fulfills the look but it lacks playability. The other playmo dragons have more to them than just being an object, they can become a character in a story. The goofy faced ones were, well goofy, the recent dragonland ones were very angry and now these that look to be a mix of animation influence but trying to keep a dragon look, while still being a character in it self. I think that is the logic behind the small dragon sets that you dress up in armor. How many kids ask to be Nessie versus the big black angry dragon or even the smaller classic goofy ones?

Yes, I agree! As I said earlier, this theme is the most clear copy of Lego yet, with the Ninjago theme. I don't normally find these things as bad as others do, but this is such a clear influence. An historical junk would have been much nicer. :-\

Unfortunately it is not allowed to repost them here...
