Gawd...why, why, why so much pink! In the "old days" there were more neutral colours. Who is to say there is no room for a men's wear shop, or a sport shop...?

The "Asian Dragonland" theme is not very good, honestly. If taken purely for fantasy, which I guess it should be, it's alright I guess, but personally I'm not very interested in it. It doesn't even seem very "Asian" to me except for some cultural building styles and euipment choices. Some of the figures look bad with crazy colour combinations and such, and there really isn't much to make the theme "Asian" instead of any other sort of fantasy. And the dragons who wield weapons? They look hilariously bad! And they certainly aren't based off of southeast Asian dragons.

I really do think that the theme is highly based off of Lego's Ninjago, which is a bit disappointing... An historical theme would have been great, and I know that cheng was especially hoping for such a theme.

Basically, I think that the ninja and warrior in Series 5 of the Fi?ures line are better than those released in the main theme! The only things that I see in the new theme that I really want are the scimitars or dao-like swords and the composite bow.

I'm glad that they included a ninja in the Dragon castle. A red version of the one that will come in series 5.
Maybe it's the fantasy fan or the kid in me talking, but I'm really looking forward to this series.

I hope that we'll get historical series some day, but these will keep me busy until then.

I think I hate those feet. Having someone with fancy shoes in their undies is kinda odd. Still.. we'll see.

For some reason, the feet make me think of minnie mouse. But the high heels on that type of klicky could be useful for a Miss America swimsuit competition.

AGH. Hadn't thought of that. Hate those too.. The only sort of competition like that I ever enjoyed was "Miss Known World"    And the shoes woulrn't fit there.

Not sure how I feel about Asian Dragons. I'm certainly not blown away but will reserve final judgement until I see them in person because I was not overly impressed with Dragonland until I got my hands on the Green Dragons.  Overall looks like 2013 and 2014 will be affordable.

Especially swimsuit competitions... so demeaning to women. In this day and age, a woman's worth is still based on how she looks in a bikini. But anyway, I'm off topic.
