I really love the shopping mall. I must say it's rather polly pocket, but I love it anyway! So many great features! I just wish it didn't have a pink roof.

Anyone else find it funny that the only male in the mall is the one selling ice cream? I like the (new?) ponytail hair.

Overall, some interesting stuff, but very gendered (the pink mall that sells wedding dresses, women's clothes and purses vs. the castle with dragons and men).

I would like to see this clip on clothing a bit closer. It looks like it makes the klickies peculiar looking.

The asian castle looks so fantasy. Its like they tried really hard to give the dragon a cartoonish personality. I do hope lots of parts can be salvaged from this theme to make a proper asian collection.

I sure am glad we collect the modern theme along with these ancient themes. In the modern city at least all the sets are not a bad team and a good team and that's it. There are hotels, construction, shops of all kinds, lots of civilans, plenty of rescue, hospitals, and yes there are the cops and robbers too. I can see how frustrating it would be if you only wanted to collect ancient themes and were so limited in building a proper collection of life in those times. We can get it out of our system in the modern theme and enjoy just waring with Romans against Egyptians, knights against other knights , pirates against the royal navy. Most of the kids day to day play is with the modern themes and they use all aspects of life in play.

I must say that I find that asian castle theme very disappointing. Looks even worse than dragonland. At least the castle design of dragonland was kind of alright, it where the odd weapons and most clickies that I didnt like.
The asian castle looks somewhat like a take along castle, it reminds me of the one with the red wolf on a green background thats seen very very often on auction sites.

I FINALLY found out what's wrong with those fairies

The new hairstyles are GREAT. I think I hate those feet. Having someone with fancy shoes in their undies is kinda odd. Still.. we'll see.

Since the big shop sets are not in our plans, I wish they'd make a new version of the hair add on.

Does anyone know what's the promo for this toyfair? I suppose I should try prowl ebay (VERY dangerous!)

ah, at least I see a usable Asian part in the new shopping mall  ...the lady buying ice cream, if I tidy and trim her black bunned hair...she'll be on her way to join my terracotta soldiers...what a scary prospect for her 

as for the Asian fantasy,
I know they are meant for kids play
and targeted at them but so are LEGX's ninja sets (they are also fantasy but more accurate and it doesnt make them less desirable to kids right?)
..not a single torso/armour/pair of legs can be seriously used
(except for a few building parts and the composite bow)
..well, at least I dont have to replace any legs/torsos/armour/weapons on my samurai/mongol/korean/terracotta customs after Sept.
