Geobra has come up with a new idea:
They just added single klickies (old designs and new ones) without any accessories as Add-On sets to the German DS-range.

It are all figures belonging to the City Life theme, not sure if figures for other themes will follow later on...
Here you can see them on the German official website:

http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Search-Show?cgid=Ds_Figuren

Price is about 2,5 euro for an adult klicky and 2 euro for a child klicky.
If they ever are incorporated into the range of international DS-shops, then they'll probably cost a little more (as usual), what would make them more expensive then Suprise Figures that do come with (a few) accessories...  unless prices of the next batch of Suprise Figures will be raised too  ::)

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

That's GREAT. For germans.

The price is probably close to buying them as parts. Did you see the chinese woman's face is a sticker?

Wish that'd appear here too! :)

Oh that's wonderful! I see at least three that I must have! I hope they start doing something like that in all countries.

I'd say it is about what you pay for a figure without accessories from DS.  It's sensible to sell them that way as I imagine most buyers wouldn't want the accessories and those who do can buy the extras through as DS parts.  I hope they spread it worldwide (I assume that it will be limited to Germany at first as a trial).  I am short of modern male figures and there are one or two female ones I want, so this saves me having to go through the individual plans.  I may be wanting someone in Germany to do some buying for me, especially if the range increases.

Stickers are used for prototypes. The actual figures will have printed/injected faces as usual. When they first showed the Fi?ures, the designs on their clothes were stickers too, that's when I asked and got that answer from Playmobil on their FB page.

I just think it's bad that they put the images like that. This time, they look particularly HORRID.

I think it's the greater and greater quality of images we support. A few years ago, with our slooooow modems, this would be unthinkable. But now, with the big resolution, you can see everything. They should at least paintshop it a bit. Better, use a chinese head!

Thank you Hadoque for the info and link

To me # 30142640 looks like a transvestite, looks like male hair on a female figure  :hmm:

I just do not get why this is done? Its so easy to buy loose figures on auction. Is it a way for Geobra to get rid of unwanted klickies?

The price to me is way to high. I understand DS selling individual klickies at that price when you have to factor in all the manual labor it takes to put a parts order together but to pay this much for a single klicky that is prepackaged w/no accessories is too much. I would buy them if the figures were soldiers or something but not for modern folk one can easily buy on auctions for $0.50
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

This is pretty cool, I think.  :)
