New purchases.

  Great story and humour as always great touch with the rhinos at the end. Snow White was quite lucky in a way and it's good to see you have klickies of all sexualities in your collection

Very funny way to show the new purchases, Rhalius!  Fortunately, the dwarf king was not a "weigerambtenaar" (not translatable, I'm sorry.. the dutch speaking members know what I mean)

Thanks, I figured it would be a neat way to celibrate the changes going on this year as acceptance grows. 

Quite happy with my new purchases though, some nice figures and that snow white set has so many wonderfull items and clickies. 

Quite a few peasant clothes, a very versatile queen, snowwhite makes for a great noblewoman, the somewhat feminine prince with his rosey cheeks is a nice variation, the dwarves/gnomes are a cool addition too, didnt have hairbrushes yet and that blue sack to carry apples in is also new for me.
And that glass casket is definatly the prize item of that set, that can be used in so many ways. 

The dwarf and mongolian archer are beautifull figures too, Gladiator seems versatile as well.
I got some old pirates and the monk too since they seem usefull.
I deliberatly let the purple pirate woman steal the hat of the queen to show its the exact same color.

((new arrivals, so a new story!))


Pirate: "What do you have there, Rob?"
Rob: "A treasure map! My brother has the same one. It shows where our father buried his treasure before he died."
Pirate": "Better not let captain Green see it then."

Captain Green: "I heard that! You better hurry up and find me that treasure Rob! Dont dare to return without it!"

And so with plenty of motivation, Rob went on his way.

Nearby, two of his friends where on a treasure hunt of their own.

Jasper: "We finally found the treasure of the cursed skull!"
Ruby: "It looks a bit weird though."


Ruby: "It's all just stuck together and has an odd color. Bah, its fake treasure."
Jasper: "At least the crown seems real."
Rob: "Hey how is it going?"

Jasper: "Not that great, that treasure is fake."
Rob: "What about this one?" He pulls on a piece of treasure, and suddenly the platform switches around. the fake treasure disappears, and two scorpions appear!


Jasper is quick to shoot them, and they store the crown in the chest with the few rubies they found.

Rob: "Well it's not much, but at least you won't need to return empty handed to Captain Green."

[Rhalius]

But as they turn around, suddenly three warriors from the far east stand there, armed to the teeth. "That's our treasure now! Hand it over!"


Reluctantly they give up the treasure.

Rob: "Not much to do about it, even that one guy seems more heavily armed than the three of us!"

Moving along, Rob finds his brother, Bob who seems to have made a camp for himself.

Rob: "Hey Bob, did you have any luck finding the treasure?"
Bob: "Sadly I did, but it seems the stories about Dad's treasure where greatly exaggerated."

Ghost: "Arr, step forth and claim the mighty treasure of the infamous dread pirate!"

Bob: "Give it a rest dad, we don't want your cursed treasure."

Ghost: "Ungratefull son! Let me show ye the great treasure I gathered, riches beyond your wildest dreams!"
He opens the chest and shows something Rob and his friends have seen before.

Bob: "We dont want your cursed treasure, dad! We don't want to become ghosts like you."
Rob: "Cursed FAKE treasure even!"
Ghost: "But it gets lonely being the only ghost."

Suddenly three Romans ambush them. "In the name of the Emperor, hand over that treasure!"

They all smile. "Fine, its all yours. We wouldnt dare to stand up to brave soldiers like you guys."

Roman: "Well you better not dare to come after us, we are leaving with this treasure!"

Other Roman: "It's so light, I can carry it all on my own! It must be super special light gold or something!"

[Rhalius]

After having a good laugh about the Romans stealing the fake treasure, they continue on their way. Surely they should be able to find something to bring back to Captain Green?
Then they run into their friend Beryl.

Rob: "Hey there Beryl, did you find anything?"
Beryl: "I just did, yes! Look what I digged up!"

He pulls a golden statue out from under the tree trunk.

Rob: "Wow, thats very impressive!"

Maltese knight: "That belongs in a museum!"

Rob: "Oh no, not this time! We are well armed and you are all alone. This statue is ours! How is going to take it away from us, hm?"

Maltese Knight: "Well the Knight watch of course!"

Suddenly there are two armed men behind them, forcing them to drop their arms.
Willem van Ruytenburch: "Actually it's Night's watch."
Maltese Knight: "Well I am a knight and you are watching me now! Now let's get moving!"

Albrecht Dürer: "That is a very beautifull statue you have there!"

Maltese knight: "Thank you, we saved it from a bunch of savage pirates."


Martin Luther: "Well done, culture and reason will prevail! We can't let ourselves be ruled by barbarians."

Suddenly he is tapped on his shoulder. "Excuse me."

Martin Luther: "Yes, what do you want from us?"

Viking: "I am here to collect the taxes, I just collected them from a certain Captain Green as well."

Martin Luther: "Why are you dressed as a viking?"
Viking: "People keep saying that paying their taxes feels like a viking raid, and my boss has a sense of humor."
Maltese Knight: "Oh, how novel. It's like a living work of art! Well here you go then, we wouldnt want to disobey the law."
Viking: "Thanks for your cöoperation." He takes the statue and painting and goes back on his way.


Viking: "Tax collector.. I can't believe they fell for that! It sure saves me a crew, they just hand it over willingly without a fight. Now to get back home I might need people to row my ship.. Maybe I should offer people an active vacation with plenty of exercise. They might pay me to row my boat."

Ha! Funny story. The Viking may be on to something. There's a farm stand near me that has a bunch of goats with a walkway where the goats go up above. People pay money to buy bits of food to feed the goats. Similar principle I think.
