New purchases.

I made some new purchases in the past week, I figured to introduce them all in a short story since it might be more fun that way, enjoy. 



Bob the Barbarian is enjoying a good meal and a mug of ale at the beach.

A man dragging along a chest approaches, and Bob raises his mug to him.
"
Bob: "Hello there buddy, you must be thirsty from carrying that chest around, have a drink!"
Bill: "That's very kind of you, I am supposed to meet a friend here though so I can't stay. You are free to come with me though."
Bob: "Sure, that sounds like fun."

Bill: "Feel free to put your things in my chest, there is plenty of room."


They had barely closed the chest, before another pirate runs up to them.

Pete: "Hey there, theres some travelers coming this way, with the three of us we could surely rob them of their gold!"
Bill: "Sounds like a plan, there is always room for more gold."
Bob: "I could sure use some money, then we can get plenty of ale for the three of us!"

And so Bob the Barbarian, Bill the Buccaneer and Pete the Pirate where laying an ambush for the travelers Pete mentioned.

[Rhalius]

Bob, Bill and Pete: "Stop that cart and hand over the gold and no one will be hurt!"

Startled, the Lion soldier and knight raise their hands to surrender to this unexpected attack.

"Hold it right there!" Said a loud voice.

It appears there where a few soldiers traveling behind the cart.
Pete: "uh oh, I didnt see them.. they must have walked behind the cart when I saw it approach."

Bob: "Erhm there appear to be a few of them who traveled ahead too.."

Several soldiers pushing siege equipment came back to aim their machines at the three robbers.
Bill: "You might need glasses or something, didnt you see those guys passing by earlier?"
Pete: "Alright I was sleeping at the side of the road, and I just woke up and saw that cart.. Lets get out of here!"
Bill: "Follow me!"


Bob: "It's a dead end here at the water, I can't swim!"
Pete: "You don't think these guys would believe it if we told them we where only joking about stealing their gold?"

Bill: "Ah, there is my friend."

Bob: What the.. I thought this fellow here was your friend?"
Bill: "Oh no, I never saw him before in my life! Ryan the Red over there is my friend."

The pirates on the ship fired their cannons and pistols at the soldiers, doing their best to keep them at bay.

As they pull the chest on board wiht the crane, they fend off the soldiers.

Quickly everyone jumps on board, and they sail away.


The soldiers still try to get the ship to sink with their projectiles, but they can't seem to hit the ship.

As they sail away, Bob has given Bill a mug of ale to enjoy, and Bob continues eating his chicken.
And Pete.. well Pete is planning to run for captain on this new ship, his only arguement is however that he claims to have the nicest hat.

That was all of it, heres a final pic to show a little overview of all the new sets. 



I am quite happy with all of it, I picked up the figure and the two specials at the end of last week, and the pirate ship and soldiers where delivered yesterday.
Finally some soldiers and knights for my Lion prince to command, they will be used in an upcoming story. I left the stickers off the money cart since I actually prefer the full metal look and it keeps it more versatile so that other factions than the Lions can use it. 

The pirate ship is truly beautifull, it might be the best created so far The very shape seems more realistic than the classic design. Took me quite a while to assemble it all, but the pirate clickies that came with it where watching me with great patience during the entire process.

Thanks, I figured it be best to save the best for last. And poor Bob might not have been noticed if it all had been introduced in reverse order.
