I've paused the end and looked at that a lot of times too, and I agree that some of the figures would be awesome to have released! The frost giant and demonic skeleton do seem particularly cool. ;) And I think it'd be great if Playmobil started to release more wizard or druidic-themed characters and sets, as I don't have any of them and think they are really nice additions to the Medieval or pre-Medieval European world.

Here's the end (with the frost giant and demonic skeleton) if anyone hasn't seen the trailer. I also see the forest ghost and many others! :) This is the best resolution available currently!

You're right, but it does look quite fun. And it would certainly be cool to be able to design your own character and play along with others. That's the really cool part of it I think, the fact that's it is an MMORPG.

And I'm sure that German-speaking fans could help you if you can't speak German, Giorginetto! ;)

What would be really cool would be designing your own character and being able to buy all the stuff that appears in the online game from playmobil... like all that steck
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

heh well maybe they like to keep the project small. Releasing it in more countries would require more servers, and more expenses to have it all online.

If it proves succesfull, they can always expand and translate later.

Still, I think an MMO is not the best kind of game for playmobil.

Something with castle building could be nice though.. a game like stronghold but adapted to playmobil.  With less management and less focus on war.

I've been wondering about that too, and I think that a single-player style RPG would be best, whether it is multi-player or not. Having big armies or towns under control - which would definitely be awesome too - feels a little weird, because not many have giant armies of Playmobil knights and such in real life. If you create a single or a few characters, then it'd be similar to the ones you actually have or want to get.

And who knows, maybe the game, if it is released after all, will include ways to construct castles and stuff if you are powerful and wealthy enough. Though that seems a bit complicated for the target audience!

While the Morgen Studios site says 2013, the actual Playmobil World website still lists later-summer 2012 as the release date, so we may be able to find out some answers soon! ;)
