 :wave:Hi,

I just got some inspiration to make a samurai, so here it is. Historically, I'm not sure where the undershirt with a collar falls, but I've seen it several times in movies and such.

The official Playmobil oriental sword is too long to fit in a belt so I had to make my own. It's made from the two standard medevil swords. The belt is made from a standard sword belt and a bow hat band, and the back of a head band. I used tape and a little Krylon fusion. Krylon fusion doesn't like me so its a little cruddy looking in spots. The eyes are tape over a painted on face.

The hat is one of my dad's customs made from cardstock and paint.

Wow, this is a cool figure  :o 8-)

Very clever assignment of parts and well executed.

I like the tape-eyes-idea. Also the sword and the hat. The collar fits quite well and actually reminds on the eastern movies.

Superb custom, Jimmy!

Very clever, the way you made the belt! I don't see any "cruddy" spots at all. ;)

I can't comment on historical accuracy, but to my eye, he looks just how I would expect a samurai to look. 8-)

Thank you for sharing your wonderfull custom with us. You certainly have a talent for customising :)9 !! I have looked really close at the belt as well and can honestly say i can't see any cruddy spots at all !!
