First time I saw the Roman/Egyptian theme in a toy store a couple of years back I thought:
“If I were a kid this would be on my list”. Did not buy it back then because, why would I buy Playmobil?
As a kid I had a lot of the stuff: pirateship, eskimo’s cowboy, Indians, astronauts .
Sold all the Playmobil at a fleemarket when my brother and I decided to get rid of all our toys, I regret this now obviously.
Since half a year now I’m collecting playmobil (why not buy playmobil, I thought eventually) and of course
it started with the Roman/Egyptian theme. Too bad it not that easy available any more than a couple of years back,
but must not complain most of the items from those themes are on my attic now together with some Vikings, pirates, adventure and dragonland. One thing I noted when start buying Playmobil, soon you want to buy all the themes. However, do not have the
room for that so now I’m just waiting for the Prehistoric theme, which I definitely want, and in the mean time trying not to buy anything else and just surf the internet and look what you guys are all buying, reviewing, customizing etc.
