That's one of those modern inventions we totally take for granted and never think of as "technology". It's hard to imagine life before band-aids!

-Yeah, I really wish they would make black clothes pins though, for racial diversity.

-Yes, and the paint colors are too bright, too many primary colors, especially on the US clothespins!

I already do!  We call them peg dolls here. 
I make peg doll kits and sell them at my craft fairs.
