Do we need a FAQ for trains?
« on: August 18, 2011, 23:36:13 »
Some (basic) questions keep coming back.

In the Klickywelt we have a FAQ (= frequently asked questions), but in german. It's very useful, I think.
I could ask the authors if we can have it here.

Is here someone, who could translate it in english (french, spain,...)?

Wow, that's a lot of FAQ's! If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer, you could select the Google Translate tool. If you turn on the Google toolbar, it gives you the option to translate. The translation from German is sometimes is a little poor  :hmm: but still understandable. Hope this helps!

You can do this with other browsers, too.

I asked Junker Jörg, if we could post the train FAQ of the Klickywelt here.
Junker Jörg and me (zugpferdchen), we wrote most of the FAQ of the Klickywelt.

He agrees, if we post both, the english AND the german version here.

So we need someone to translate the german FAQ texts into accurate English.
(no online translated english gibberish)

Hi ,

after reading the FAQ at klickywelt.de, one question to the german speaking guys who may have also read these FAQs:
Does it make sense to translate all of them?
I guess that e.g. the digital part a.) is a little bit older b.) they are not available across the world c.]some parts are not even longer available in germany.

Another problem : This FAQ links to several threads in other boards which are only readable when you are member in this boards.

Regards
schluss

Yes, Schluss, you are right. We have to work on it.
Some parts are only examples to explain the principle.

Thank you for the tip!
