Thanks Schluss , i have placed a bet for a second playmo transformer that i can use in an isolated separate truck ... may i ask and sorry i ask all these questions which is the most, most powerfull transformer i can use with my 4052 playmo train and lGB trucks ????

Hi,

If you are looking for a small transformator, I can help. A 4375 and two 4350 are available, I do not use them.

Regarding the most powerful one, I have to search. The limitating factor is the maximum voltage, should be limited to 14V, the current should be high enough that you can run more than 3 engines (the 4052 has two engines). Each engine needs up to 1A.

schluss

My private digital one has 15A at 22V....

Hi,

quick and simple answer:  NO

Why not: the AC input in the US is 110V, in your country it´s 230V....

So a 230V europena one whould be good then rainer? if i bought one of these i would imagine i still need to run cables for long length tracks right ?

Hi,
there is no need to run additional cables along the whole layout.
one input from the power supply may be ok, two of them are better (should be on opposite side from each other)..

It always depends on the size of your layout.

Another question for Schluss our playmo train expert ....

The signs 4353 and 4394 are they exactly the same? what do these signs do ? can they stop a train or are they just cosmetic ???

Hi,

Both signs are equal to each other, They do not have any function, only a cosmetic gadget.

Rainer

On opposite side you mean at the two far ends of the set up, both will be connetced in the same way into the truck correct ?
