Welcome from San Francisco.  You have an interesting avatar name, is there a story behind it that you can tell, or is it a secret?

There isn't a big story. Possibly inspired by my love of history.  My son asked me, what do you want to be called on the forum, and I said Blitzbabe.  For once he looked like he was proud of me.

Hello Blitzbabe, a warm welcome from the Netherlands!

I think the Blitz in her name refers to the fact that she went from her first playmo buy to signing up for this forum in just 3 months :-)

only took me 18 years to get involved with the collectors community :-)

I bet 18 years just blitzed by   I must admit I'm the rather obsessive type, and I confess I was a guest here for a few weeks before joining.  There is some great information here for fans.

Welcome to Playmofriends from Cornwall!

Sounds like your story is the same as mine - I bought a 3945 camper van on EBay and fell in love with all the detail and down the slippery slope I went.

Wish I'd thought of your signature before you did, but my forum name tells the same story.  Do I buy Playmobil for my son? Of course I do  :-[
