Just in case following pics have never been posted on the forum...

(Only) 3 pictures "publicly" available (that I'm aware off) from a few prototypes of never released items/sets... the Mississippi-steamboat probably the most famous one.
These prototypes are kept in glass cabinets at Playmobil-headquarters (in Zirndorf I guess).

I hope there won't be negative comments/troubles again about credits/copyrights/etc. of the pics, as they originate from an old thread on the Klickywelt-forum...

Here's the steamboat... sadly not a full view, but nevertheless it gives a reasonable impression what the boat looks like.

And to conclude, some Arabian klickies and Mongol(?) horsemen...
The flying carpet made it to production, but the prints on it are different I believe...

Also, look at the strange roof of the steakhouse steckhouse below in the left-corner  ;)

Thanks, Erwin, I've never seen these before.

I guess the different Steck roof was for a simpler (maybe, too, smaller) building.

The steamboat waqs mentioned in the Playmobil book ' Playmobil : Story Of a Smile' , it didnt make it into production due to high cost... shame really i would buy 10 of them and creat a confederate river fleet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
