Haven't posted here in a while, but we've made a few purchases last few days. Our TRU is having a moving sale, with four ailes of playmo at 20% off.

Well, today we went to check it out. I had never been to this store before, but it is the most charming little privately owned store, a converted house, with something new to look at everywhere you turn. They had so much stuff you don't see at regular toy stores, like painted tin toys, that kind of stuff. We asked the lady at the counter if they carried playmobil, and she told us very sadly that they don't anymore. She went on to tell us how much they always loved playmobil, but since target and tru started carrying it, they just can't compete price-wise. We told her about how we collect playmobil and described how much of it we have at home, and that if we'd known they were there, we would have come earlier. Anyway, she said they did have one set left somewhere, which we eventually found. It was this set:

I absolutely LOVE it! It's even better than I thought it would be! Anyhow, we ended up leaving our name and number with the woman, and if she finds anything else in storage upstairs she has promised to call us.
