I would try coarse rubber strips on the wheels and lots of weight to make it grip but the grade is still going to make a huge difference... what is your incline currently?

i am gonn have to measure it ,  i suppose its ok to fit rubber strips in all wheels ? that will not impact on speed is it ??  :) :)

Hi,

rubber is an isolator......
You are going to reduce the possibility that the engine gets power.....

and depending on the rubber one wheel can become bigger than the other....

Duh, forgot we were dealing with electric  8} BUT it might still work, you would need very thin rubber strips... and it cant cover the whole wheel ... it is going to be more to stop the train from rolling backward than to help it move forward...

thank you all !!! i thought the playmo trains dont get power from wheels but from the two plates that touch the rails.. anyways i will concentrate on getting my layou tfirst and then worry about the rest , if anything i want to get 24V power to the playmo trains and i am soon visting a big train model shop to discuss this !!! will keep you all updated !!! :)

Order placed for various LGB items on the maerklin site!!!!!  :love: :love: :love:

12 x 1200mm tracks, 12 x 300m 30 deg angle tracks, 1 track with bumper illuminated stop at the end , 12 track stoppers ( keen the train in place ) , some bits and pieces for replacement parts for tracks . Now all i have to do is to wait for all these to arrive and then set up my approx 80metres track !!!!!!!!!!! cant wait !!! cant wait !!!! cant wait !!!!!  :love: :love: :love: :love:

My tracks arrived !!! now i have approx 70-75m of track length and will set up a bigger , longer train line at the HighBack Mountain Train Line !!!!!  :love: :love: :love:
