Keystone Circus Train
« on: April 12, 2011, 20:07:11 »
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this:

http://www.keystonetrains.com/circustrain.html

I've read reviews on other sites that were less than glowing, but these were comparing it to LGB and other comparable brands.

I was thinking it would work for a tie-in to the Playmobil Circus.

I've never had any experience with Keystone trains.  I was wondering if anyone has taken the Circus trailers and fitted them to the base of a train wagon.

tomegood: i remember seeing one over weeks in ebay germany. it looked like an easy fitting combination - if you have a circus and trains this would be the ice on the cake

I've got the trains.  Just no circus.  I know what I'm going to start looking for on ebay in the next few weeks.

t : sounds like a great project. the wagon i saw was made with this :

maybe this would be a good start.

Wesley: the train looks really good but the stickers might be a problem because there is no keystone circus in the playmo cosmos.

And its a great way for me to start into the circus theme.  Yeah all the older trailers look the best for it I'll just keep on the lookout for a broken one on ebay.

I won't be able to buy any circus stuff until the end of this month, but once I get the stuff I'll post pics.
