Well we almost risked our lives for this find, so I thought I'd at least better share with you all! So as many of you know I've had this vintage castle on hold at my
toy store, but it is about 85 miles away from where I live. We were going to pick it up Thursday, but I couldn't wait
Aaron got off work early yesterday so we could try and make it there and pick up the castle before the store closed. Well, I had no idea a big storm was about to hit
We got stuck in freezing rain! We weren't going to make it to the store in time, so I called the store because the owners were aware that we were on our way. Now, this is another reason "mom and pop" stores are so wonderful....the shop owner said she would wait for us as long as it took, just to make sure we arrived safely. Lately the kindness of others has just been astounding me
It took us nearly three hours to get home last night (being a man, Aaron braved the freezing rain, despite my urging to stay at a hotel). The car was an absolute icicle
Even the mall shut down today and a lot of our city is without power.
Ugh, well at least my princesses aren't homeless anymore.
