If Your House was burning down, which ONE Playmobil toy would you save?

First I'd have to save, Avie, Flatcat and Lizzie. I know they're not worth much compared to others, but they mean a lot to me

Then secondly, my most prized Playmobil, which are 2 custom fire engines made by Gordon. These are my most treasured pieces (along with the guys)

Strangely enough I have a Playmoplan in case of catastrophe.

But to be true to the thread, and a little bit realistic, if all the rest is already saved.... I would grab all that it is at hand on the way out. I wouldn't get picky! 
But if I could choose.... I would probably take my avatar and my costums ladies.... they are after all unique!

Nope, now that I can think about it better, the old police helicopter...the one I still have from my childhood...and the old green police van...or the old police car...and the playmospace station...and... I' m probably dead by now right?

There was a thread discussing insuring a Playmobil collection with homeowners insurance a while ago, maybe a year or so,...& I remember someone lost their collection in a flood, but I don't remember to a fire !

Yes, Mansionbuilder who used to post on this forum regularly lost his entire collection in the Texas grassfires a few years ago. He had some health issues some time after that and hasn't been posting very often lately. So it can and does happen.

My top one would be the organ grinder custom I got from Bogro a few years ago.
For regular Playmoibl it would be the Mountie on his horse. That one is the most difficult to replace I think.

Giorginetto has lost a big part of his early playmobil in a flood (lots of little accessories covered and mixed in mud as I recall).
I've lost all the boxes and instructions to a flood, but managed to salvage all the pieces, which btw needed a very good clean after that...

Wow. I seriously cannot imagine how devestating that would be just for loss of playmobil alone, not to mention your home and everything else in it. That is very sad.

That wouldn't be fun either. At least it's not a complete loss, but still would be difficult. But maybe after having your home flooded, playmobil is the least of your worries. I don't know. I think I'd still think about the playmobil a lot!
