Kaethe...I just remembered your question.... for the parasol I used the rays of the bike wheel. I carefully cut the rest off.  :xmascheer:

Bonnie that is a good question. I did not use that paste for the hair, but a normal two component clay...the sort that is hardrock in 10 minutes.
the hair was the most dificult part to make and give form. I tried several looks with the other paste but as it takes 24hs to dry and I was never happy with the result, I decided to go for that fast dry one, that also is harder so it is easier to sand down and re-touch  ;D
I love the outcome now!
