I have the large school 4323 which now sells for 170.USD at TRU and noticed their smaller school 5923 (105.USD) in the local store yesterday. I, too, like the figures in 5923, but wonder if the price is a bit high. At 99.USD, I bet it would fly off the shelf. $105. is just a weird amount from a marketing standpoint. And $110. would definitely be too high.
Sometimes very large chain stores (like TRU) arrange for special exclusive sets so that they don't have to match lower prices anywhere else. The defunct Circuit City was known for this, and Best Buy may do it to some extent.
Like bb states above, it is a darn shame that they do not sell the Klickies separately as a set in the stores or at least at PM's website because they are really difficult to find at PM DS. A 3 pack of city Klickies would be lovely, especially in other races. There are many sets I will never buy, but will somehow find the figures. The large zoo has a nice purple top lady,... but I don't need the zoo. The white camper at TRU has a lovely lady with leaves on her top, but I already have a camper or two.
And they definitely should have made the schools so they could be joined...even if with walkways or whatever. That way one could combine two large schools or a large and small one into a single school. All would take is a roof piece with a removable overhang or none at all. Children and adults do like to "play school" because most of us have to spend many years inside them. Any other ideas on how to combine them? Thanks, Pgal
