Strange Koala Box

I was looking at the box the koala set is packaged in. Has anyone seen that before? I have the koalas, and they came in a normal box. I've never seen any box this shape from playmobil before. Could it be some kind of promotional set?

maybe its one of these give-aways/promotional packs for toy fairs or fun parks... The 3rd collector lists a red dragon knight in a box like this in page 542.

The koala box and a top-agent box are the 2010 Nürnberg toy fair give-aways.
The red dragon knight box is the 2009 Nürnberg toy fair give-away.
