Bishop Custom
« on: November 11, 2010, 20:33:41 »
Hi there

I'm currently still building a Sys-x cathedral, and while waiting for more parts, I already started to customise the evil bishop who will rule the city at the religious side. For the archbishop, I used the klicky of the new three kings x-mas set. Just gave him evil eyes and white hair.

He looks great, kenc! Very evil-looking. I am so happy that hat is available now. It opens up a whole world of customizing possibilities.

Very nice customs, Ken !!!

The incense burner (censer) is a very nice touch!

It appears that one of your clergymen is carrying a wine flagon (chalice) and a large pitcher (cruet). He should probably have two cruets. One for the wine (vinum) and one for the water (aqua).

And, the object that your Bishop is carrying could be easily converted into a Ostensorium for displaying and carrying the host.

It is interesting to see how easy it would be to make a Playmobil diorama of the Roman Catholic "Celebration of the Mass".

Some definitions ... HERE.

The cathedral is doing well, Elric, thank you. New parts are on the way. However, I still need another 14pcs of black roof parts and they where out of stock at DS  >:(  >:( It seems to be a very popular part with Sys-x builders. I'll need to change the final design of the building, then  :) Just like in medieval times, the construction time will have another delay   :)
