mind-boggling!!!!!
i particularly like the autumn tree as well, and the general outdoor scene that shows of the architecture of the castle so nicely.  love the suspension bridge, the tower, and the dark woods behind it. your photos showcase everything very nicely.  looking forward to your santa house.

Thanks for the great "overview" photos, Tim!

This is a HUGE display. However, your fantastic photos made it appear even larger. Well done!

Without a doubt, your "Wizard's Workshop" is definitely your "pièce de résistance"!

Tim, I have been through your incredible photos several times. And, I keep coming back to your cleverly painted autumn tree. Very clever!

Looking at your cornucopia of individual characters, and their variety of costumes, makes me a bit envious about the kaleidoscope of loony toon dreams that must entertain you every night ...

Thank you for your wonderful Halloween treat, Tim!

All the best and Happy Halloween,
Richard

You've created a wonderful Halloween Castle this year, Tim!  I really like all the different clever rooms in it and all the intricate details.  All the charming, diverse characters really make it a marvelous creation.  Well done! :wow: :wow: :wow:

Thanks all. I was very happy with how the autumn leaves turned out. I used acrylic paint, first a layer of Naples Yellow - a sort of flat middle yellow/tan color, and then brightened it up with some yellow and light orange brushed on lightly but with wet paint so it settled onto the leaf pattern. I will probably do more next year. Before I can do Santa's castle I have to take this one apart, so it may be a while. I will post when I have something.

(And no, I didn't eat the coachman!)   :o
