Halloween Castle 2010

I've had this diorama built for over a month and only got to taking photos Monday. I've had to rush a bit since I am out of town Friday through Sunday. So my clever plans for a photo story went out the window. Instead I will post a long series of photos (62!) with captions relating to this year's Halloween Party at The Halloween Castle. It's basically a tour of the castle and it's inhabitants and guests. There will be a few new faces and some familiar ones as well. I will start out with the story-tour and finish with full shots of the diorama.

Our adventure begins with the arrival of a black coach (custom paint job I did this summer - the tack is all regular pieces  just the stagecoach was painted)

From atop a castle tower you can see the guests who are arriving - important guests indeed.

You can see a guest entering at the top of the stairs, his horse being led to the stables.



The autumn tree is a custom paint I did this year.

On the upper walkway the Green Man shares a brew with Executioner Larry. So nice to see Larry coming out of his shell, he tends to be shy.
