so other than the pavillion and the mansion, excluding the extra stories, what do i need to complete one?  the only thing i can tell is an extra wall with door and windows for the entrance to the pavillion patio.

what else exactly?
To complete the project you will need . . .
1 patio floor section (30 64 1090)
1 center base unit  (30 24 9650)
2 triple female wall connectors (30 24 9700)
7 black railings (30 05 7280)
4 straight black railing connectors (30 05 7300)
2 black corner railing connectors (30 05 7310)
1 3 unit wall with door and windows (optional)

Hope you have as much fun as I did.  ;D

Oh, that's really beautiful! It looks like a sunporch. I may have to try it. Very well done.

I don't own either of these yet, but have my sights on some that are still on the local shelf, so I don't know off hand what parts they already come with.  Just tryina figure out what EXTRA parts I will need to find to make it work:

I know for sure I will need to locate an extra wall with a door if I want the roof patio to have a door, but....

Does not the Pavillion itself already come with:
1 patio floor section, and
6 black railings (meaning I'd have to locate an only 1 extra railing )?

And will the base unit that comes with the Pavillion work with this setup?  Or do I have to find an extra mansion base unit to expand it seperately?  (since I'm guessing the Pavillion base is too big on it's own, since it seems to cover the length of the pavillion AND the patio together?)

And as far as the female connectors and the black railing connectors, do they already come in sufficient amounts between the Pavillion and Mansion sets?  Or would I have to locate extra connectors in addition to both sets?

Thanks in advance again for your help!

And awesome ideas and work again, both you and inspirational Gaston.

  BlackPearl,

1 patio floor section (30 64 1090)
1 center base unit (30 24 9650)
2 triple female wall connectors (30 24 9700)
7 black railings (30 05 7280)
4 straight black railing connectors (30 05 7300)
2 black corner railing connectors (30 05 7310)
1 3 unit wall with door and windows (optional)

The above items do not come (or come in sufficient numbers) with either the mansion or the pavilion.  The patio floor comes from an original 5300 mansion.  You get one center base unit with the 5301 mansion, but you will need an additional one, as the base units that come with the pavilion do not have two open ends.  The 5301 mansion comes with 2 triple female connectors  to connect the front walls.  You will need two more to attach the pavilion to the mansion, front and back.  All of the railings and connectors that come with the pavilion are white and there are only 6 railings.  I chose to use black ones to match the railings on the front and roof  decks of the mansion.
I was fortunate enough to have the extra pieces on hand as they were included in various lots of mansion parts I won on EBay over the years.  I apologize if I didn't explain this very well and if it has caused you any aggravation.  8}
Best of luck,
Joe

Thank you Joe, for all your help.  Actually, the Pavillion I see on my local store shelf is a different number, the 4297 (USA) with Black railings:

Other than that, it seems I will have to acquire the additional parts from ebay as you have.  The patio base, however, do you think there is a way to modify it to fit instead of having to buy another 5300 base?

Thank you, Gordon and Black Pearl.
I see what you mean with the black railings on the wedding pavilion, BP.  The pavilion 7782 is still available at Playmobil DS USA.  I think the color would be a better match.  They also still have the staircases, which don't come with the 5301 mansion.  As for modifying the base, you have my mind racing again!   ;D  I will have to get back to you on that.

Thank you, Damo.  ;D

Black Pearl, I had a thought while working in the garden, you could combine two 1 unit wide floor foundations (30 05 708) with the floor connector strip (30 05 974) from the 5300 mansion instead of the center base unit (30 24 9650).  You would still have to find them on EBay though.  Just a thought.
