Kato Kiyomasa's army (1562-1611)
« on: September 20, 2010, 06:16:18 »
Kato Kiyomasa was one of the most ferocious Samurai ever lived.
In 1592 he led part of Hideyoshi's army which captured Seoul
(The Koreans called him "Kishokan"--"The Devil General")
and in 1597, crossed the Tumen River into China where they were later trapped by the Chinese army at Ulsan Castle.

thanks for your encouraging words everyone!

and many thanks for the ashigaru illustrations WoT!

Very well done, Cheng
Nice job on the head gear!

I'm still hoping for 'rickshawpullers' hats' from geobra....as you can more clearly see from this angle, the joint lines are clearly visible and my stickers' edges still show  :P ...by the time Geobra launches a rickshawpuller, I'll have to buy at least 50 hats...make that more...for my ashigarus and manchus ;D

The handles of the pikes look authentic Playmobil.  Where are they from, please?
