4835 Dragon's tower question
« on: September 15, 2010, 13:15:04 »
Hi all,

Does anyone own the 4835 dragon tower? I'd like to know if the stone part which joins both towers together (number 30 20 4742), if it holds a yellow sys-x plug to attach the part to the tower. Same question for 30 20 4642 gargoyle dragon head, how is this part attached to the tower? I need to know for my sys-x cathedral.

Thank you,

Ken

Are you talking about the bridge part that joins the sets?  If you are there is no sys x hole. As a matter of fact I don't think there is any sys x in this set.

Elric is right, there's no system X in this tower set. The bridge holds to the same type of clip that the gargoyle heads attach to, the other end slipping into an arrow slit for some stability. The gargoyle heads are flat at the back, so you could glue them in place.

If you cut the yellow SysX connectors a bit you can put them on the heads and clip it into SysX-holes, no glue needed!
Greetings Martina

Elric and Martin have it right! Here is what I did with my cathedral! I've just blue-tacked the gargoyle heads over the system x holes...
