To be honest, I just love the entire vacation theme. I don't own the boat, buggy nor the camper (yet). And I am not too sure about the buggy.

Anyway. I allways had the idea that to make a convincing swimming pool, Geobra had to alter the design. The klickies in the first swimmingpool (3205) weren't really in swimming dress and I don't really believe there's a good way to do so with a traditional klicky.
And there it stands.
As a special adaptations for a specific theme: I love them.
As a image of Playmobil-future: no thank you.

So, in answer of the original question: I love the bikini girl!
But there is a "but" ...
Just my own 0.02 ...

She is rather immodest - as obviously what the customizers were made to think of with it in the previous post on Charleston - my daughters will not be playing with it.  It is hardly a good example for young women to look up to.

I like it for such themes only that require this mode of dress (i.e. swimming, or hospital patient, etc....   However, I do wish the arms and legs looked a little less "organic" flexible and closer to the blocky look of a normal klicky.  The bikini girl's limbs remind me of polypocket too much.

Hmmm, which is worse on influencing a young girl?  Britney Spears/ Paris Hilton etc? or THE PLAYMOBIL BIKINI GIRL?  lol, tough choice!

In all seriousness, it isn't images in media, or even in toys that will determine a young girl's moral/social practice, but UPbringing that will determine what version of propriety a young girl will subscribe to as she forms her personal moral code.  The klicky in and of itself, IMO, is harmless.  It's the approach one would take with it that counts, and of course one's own personal level of propriety and discretion (and degree of conservatism) that will affect whether a person would consider this liberal design acceptable or not, socially speaking.

Aesthetically, as I said before, the bendy-looking limbs detract from the traditional blocky klicky look, IMO.  I think there would still be a way to make a bikini klicky that doesn't look so much like Poly Pocket.
