So does anyone know anything about these playing cards?

Forgot to mention they say Canada on the other side. I am pressuming they are from the USA by the writing on the side, and what Baden has said. They must be quite old as well judjing by the Klickies used.

 yes i think we forgot the originall subject ,well the clowns are from 1987 perhaps around that date were the cards made 1990 perhaps ..

That is what is puzzling, because the Kings, Queens and Jacks are obviously all much older, so perhaps you are right, and these are quite late, just using photos of classic Klickies :-\

if you see one of the klickys has beard the old male king the beards i thing were realesed in 1986 if i'am correct ,the most of the klickys are very early thought  :)

Ahh yes - he has twisty hands as well, when the other King has fixed. Same with the Queens.
