Salutations from California
« on: July 18, 2010, 21:42:07 »
Hi everyone!

I received the Victorian mansion one Christmas MANY years ago. To this day I thank my parents and let them know what a win that year was, as I'm still playing with the house regularly - fifteen years later. My love for Playmo was limited to what sets I had for my dollhouse and the sets I wanted that I saw on the box. After discovering the wonder that is Ebay a few years back I started rounding up more sets and came to acquire a combination of many themes. I'm a med student and the prospect of having my own hospital to study for exams tickles me pink.

Beyond collecting, I'm just starting to play with the notion of customizing and painting pieces the way I want them to look. I've got three massive projects I'm planning and gearing up to start working on them. It'll be great to hear about all of your own techniques and stories with such a fabulous set of toys.

Welcome from South Carolina, peaches1104! I'm in the process of assembling the 4404 hospital set with 6 additions currently, & hopefully will be posting a photo story of the final project! I have found a neighbors granddaughter that has been converted from LEGO to Playmobil to assist in the assembly which has taken her 5 full days of hard work so far! We look forward to seeing your collection & contributions!
